The Creators:
Wind Adventures, a non-profit society, based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, invented the concept of disabled windsurfing, and continues to be pivotal in its development. For more information on Wind Adventures, please visit www.windsurfingvictoria.com. The director and founder of Wind Adventures is Kevin Vowles. Kevin first envisioned disabled windsurfing while working at the Disabled Sailing Association of British Columbia (D.S.A.B.C.). Inspired by the phenomenal advancements in Disabled Sailing, Kevin believed that disabled people could enjoy windsurfing just as they do sailing.
